She is the author of four mystery novels (under the name Sandy Goldin), featuring Inspector Jeremy Smith of the San Francisco Homicide Detail – The Vanity Murders, A Friend in Need, Two Sides of a Coin, and the latest, Deja Vu x 2, released in November 2008. In addition to having a BA in Anthropology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, she is a retired nurse practitioner with a BS in Nursing from Cornell University and a masters degree from the University of California, San Francisco.
